I personally taught myself to use Game Maker in both D&D (Drag and Drop) and GML (Game Maker Language) so I know how tough it can be. This page is meant to ease the pain of learning all this stuff. Here you will be able to find the best and easiest to read tutorials from a number of different people including my own GML tutorial which has helped MANY people already.

This is my easy-to-learn GML tutorial that has helped hundreds of people switch from using D&D tousing GML. It explains everything as simply as possible making it almost impossible to NOT learn the basics of GML by the end of the tutorial. It also offers what I like to call "smart codes" which are easy to use bits of code to make programming a little easier. I get emails, PMs, and IMs from people daily wanting to tell me the story of how they finally know GML although they never tought it was possible. YOU CAN DO IT TO!
An rtf file opens in notepad just fine but was made for the default windows writting program "Write" so it has color and other special qualities.
